On Wednesday night, June 11, 2014, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., several members of our chapter provided the Leadership Legends group with an art experience. The Leadership Legends is a Senior Leadership program in partnership with the Osceola County Council on Aging. Osceola Decorative Artists Chapter members who presented the program were Debbie Morgan-Smith, Judi Davison Arntz, Jill Terrell, Miriam McCleese, Lynn Ingersoll, Jean Zawicki, Barbara Layton, and Mary Francis. Osceola Center for the Arts is where our chapter meets, and this class was given in the art room. We had 17 happy students. Lots of laughs, lots of paint, and so many happy faces! (And yes, I did get all the paint out of my shirt!) The ODA Chapter wants to give many thanks to DecoArt, Inc., for providing all the materials, through their Social Artworking program. We also wish to thank the Center for the Arts for the privilege of being a part of this experience. Osceola Decorative Artists is an accredited chapter of the Society of Decorative Painters.
